A playable demo of Silent Hill: Book of Memories will be released on PlayStation Vita tomorrow, Konami have confirmed. The single-player demo features the opening cinematics, first two zones from the game, and a battle against the game’s “Fire Boss”.
The demo also gives players the chance to play as one of two characters and utilise a “selection of weapons”, some from the latter stages of the full game, and demonstrates the “combat and exploration elements” of the new game for the first time.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories is currently slated for launch exclusively on PlayStation Vita sometime in October. It’s described as a “spin-off” from the main Silent Hill franchise, rather than a full sequel, and focusses on working together with multiple characters.
