David Fincher’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” held its world première in London yesterday in advance of its release in cinemas nationwide on December 26th. The film carries an “18” age certificate in the UK for “strong sex and sexual violence”.

Stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara attended the première, as well as Fincher, writer Steven Zaillian, actresses Joely Richardson, Elodie Yung, and Geraldine James, and actors Stellan Skarsgård, Steven Berkoff, and Yorick van Wageningen.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, responsible for the film’s widely-lauded original score, were not present at the première, but you can find out more about their work for the film on the soundtrack’s official website here.
