Good news for BlackBerry fans, and slightly less good news for RIM: nine low-resolution pictures of an upcoming BlackBerry 10 handset have allegedly been “leaked” through Twitter, according to TechSuplex. The images, if real, show off a little bit of the UI, which has been updated since we last saw it, as well as a few hardware aspects.
In some respects, it doesn’t look too different from the current line of BlackBerry phones – except it lacks the metal band around the circumference, like that on the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Instead, it’s matte black all around; the battery cover, though, does seem somewhat similar to the 9900’s in material and texture. There are no signs of the rubbery, PlayBook-inspired materials that we saw on the original prototype.
