The original Max Payne is now available from the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, Rockstar Games announced today. The game retails for £1.99 GBP, includes support for the iPad 3’s high-res display, and features “high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable [sic] controls”.

An Android version of the game is slated for launch on April 26th for phones and tablets, so if you don’t own an iOS device, you can stay tuned for that. There are currently no plans to bring the game to any other platforms, such as the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. You can find the game on the App Store here.
