YouTube stars Lindsey Stirling and Kurt Hugo Schneider’s “violin-dubstep” remix of the official Pokémon theme tune has racked up over 660,000 views in the two days since it was first uploaded, becoming the 27-year old Stirling’s latest online success.

Stirling, a classically-trained violinist, is well known for her covers of and homages to video game soundtracks, including those of Assassin’s Creed, Skyrim, and the Zelda franchise. Her début album – featuring twelve original tracks – is due for release in the UK this December.

You can find below her collaboration with Schneider on the Pokémon remix, shot on the streets of New York and Los Angeles.
