As if the weekend’s leak wasn’t enough, a full-length, high-definition trailer for Ubisoft’s Rayman Origins sequel, now known to be called Rayman Legends, has been leaked – and in addition to the gorgeous graphics and new characters, locations, and online features demonstrated, it shows off Wii U-exclusive functionality, taking advantage of the controller’s support for Near Field Communications.

The premise is simple: if you need help in the game, you can pick up an NFC-enabled statue and place it on the Wii U controller, which will automatically insert it into the game, รก la Skylanders. Other clips also show three gamers playing with Wii controllers, and a fourth helping on a Wii U controller by moving platforms into reach using the touch screen. It might have us convinced.

You can watch the leaked video to form your own opinion on the CVG website here. Warning: the trailer is incredibly cheesy, but fans of Rayman Origins are going to squeal in delight.
