Konami have announced three upcoming bundles which comprise of high-definition remakes of classic Konami releases. The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection includes Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater, the second and third instalments in the franchise respectively, and an all-new console port of the PlayStation Portable instalment Peace Walker, while the Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Silent Hill Collection contain two games from their respective franchises.
The Metal Gear Solid collection will be making its début on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this November, and is reported to run in native 1080p HD. The PS3 version of the bundle will also include the functionality to transfer an existing Peace Walker save from the PlayStation Portable version of the game and vice versa, to continue playing the game on the big screen or on the move as players see fit.
The Zone of the Enders collection has been dated for a release in 2012, containing both games from the series, and will also be released on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Silent Hill collection contains Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, although no consoles or a launch date have yet been announced. We’ll bring you the latest news as it comes.







I gotta get these at some point. I loved Snake Eater but I haven’t played Sons of Liberty. Peace Walker was fun on the PSP.
