Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be making its way to European Nintendo 3DS consoles on July 20th, Square Enix today announced. The action RPG sees players control both Sora and Rikku as they are sent into the Sleeping Worlds to face never-before-seen enemies and allies alike and prove that they are true Keyblade Masters.

Like the Kingdom Hearts games before it, Dream Drop Distance draws heavily from existing Disney universes, and this particular instalment sees La Cité des Cloches from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and The Grid from “Tron: Legacy” make their series début. Square Enix are calling the game “a big step forward in the series”.
