The GAME stock crisis seems to have become slightly more severe: in wake of the announcement of thirty-five planned store closures, the UK retailer have also confirmed that they will not be stocking The Last Story, the Nintendo-published Wii RPG from the creator of Final Fantasy. Pre-order customers had their orders cancelled.

“Unfortunately we are no longer stocking The Last Story on Wii,” simply reads the email sent to pre-order holders, according to Nintendo Life. “If you return to the store they will be happy to refund your £5.00 deposit. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

GAME also confirmed earlier this week that they would not be stocking Ubisoft’s PS Vita launch titles, and before that, they failed to stock Tekken 3D Prime Edition on the Nintendo 3DS. The future of the retailer is unclear, but not optimistic.
