Fallout: New Vegas Package Announced

Bethesda have announced the new “Ultimate Edition” of Fallout: New Vegas, which will be coming to Europe on February 10th, and includes the original game as well as all the presently available downloadable content: Dead Money; Honest Hearts; Old World Blues; Lonesome Road; Courier’s Stash; and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.

“With the introduction of the Ultimate Edition, Bethesda Softworks presents the definitive edition of Fallout: New Vegas,” reads the official description. “This complete package, which includes [the add-on packs], allows you to experience everything that New Vegas has to offer.”

I loved fallout 3, yet new vegas didn’t cut it.

Same with me. I felt that it just wasn’t as good as Fallout 3. I think Bethesda tried to add too many new features and lost quality along the way.

Bethesda didn’t develop New Vegas. It’s built on the same engine, but New Vegas was developed by Obsidian, a developer that largely comprises of Fallout 1 and 2’s original development team.

There are so many people who have told me to stay away from this game yet many people I know have said they quite enjoyed it. Guess this is somthing to put on the “reasons-to-buy” list

I got it recently, it was somewhat interesting but once you’ve been exposed to better quality games, you just can’t go to lower standards ;( You could like it though, like Steve says.
