The latest in Paradox Interactive’s long line of grand strategy games, Crusader Kings II, is now available on Mac, the publisher announced today. Placed at the head of a dynasty during the volatile period between the 11th and 15th centuries, the game challenges players to acquire as much prestige and piety as possible, through clever use of diplomacy and warfare.

Crusader Kings II was originally released on Windows in February, eight years after its predecessor, and received wide critical acclaim. You can now buy the game on Windows and Mac OS X for $39.99 USD or the local equivalent – and if you already have the Windows version of game on Steam, you can instantly download the Mac version now.
