The BBC have released two stills from The White Queen, a ten-part drama set to be aired on BBC One next year. Based on Philippa Gregory’s “The Cousin’s War” series of novels, the series begins in 1484 and follows three “different yet equally driven women” who manipulate the course of the War of the Roses through their relationships with the key players.

The series introduces Rebecca Ferguson as Elizabeth Woodville and Faye Marsay as Anne Neville, as well as featuring Amanda Hale as Margaret Beaufort. Called “one of the most ambitious series the BBC has made” by Ben Stephenson, the series is currently undergoing a 125-day shoot in Bruges, Belgium and allegedly has a budget of €22m EUR.

You can find the stills below.
