Check Out These Screenshots From Okamiden

Capcom have released a bunch of screenshots of Okamiden, their upcoming DS sequel to the critically-acclaimed PS2 and Wii epic Okami. The game, which is scheduled for release in early 2011, sees players take control of Chibiterasu, a sun god and son of Okami’s protagonist Amaterasu, joining forces with a rich cast of characters to fight off a new threat which has yet again leeched the world of its vibrant colour.

The screenshots, which you can check out below, demonstrate the game’s picturesque and highly stylised visuals, with Japanese calligraphy and scroll paintings depicted in pixel-perfect beauty.
